Antequera and Lobo Park

On 7th February 2008 a group of members travelled to Antequera and Lobo Park on a trip organised by the social committee.

The weather was good and the group had just over 4 hours to explore the ancient town of Antequera with its many churches and restaurants.

Some followed the route recommended by the Tourist Office whilst others made their own way around. Unfortunately the Castillo was not open due to renovation work but we made up for it with a relaxed lunch in the Plaza Santa Maria at its northeastern corner.

At 4.15pm we rejoined the coach and travelled the short distance to Lobo Park where Louise led us on a guided walk around the various wolf pens. Just before we left we were treated to the "howling" as park owner Daniel howled to the various packs, most of which responded in kind!
