June 2008 walk around Lake Viñuela

Walk on 14 August 2008 - around La Viñuela

The walk was led by Maureen and Alan Impey. D14 of us met up at La Viñuela in atrocious weather conditions (the temperature must have been in the low 90's)
	We walked through the village, much to the surprise of some residents who were obviously unaware of the "mad dogs and Englishmen" song lyrics!
We then climbed up through the hills to the North of the village before making our way towards Puente.
	After a stop for water (honestly) we walked back down through the olive groves towards Puente before heading back along other tracks to La Viñuela.
Most of the group then finished the evening off with a meal at La Viñuela. Our thanks to Maureen & ALan for organising the walk.
