We met up at the entrance to the Furniture factory at KM 3 on the Alcaucin road and it was nice to see some new faces as well as many familiar ones. The walk was led by Terry & Jane Frost and started off with what Terry promised was the worst climb of the day. He wasn’t wrong - the track climbed for some distance before arriving at the edge of Alcaucin village. We then descended through the village before following various tracks back towards Venta Baja and climbing back up to our start point.

The walk was followed by a well deserved meal at the Cruce Restaurant.
