July 2008 walk around Alcaucin

Walk on 10 July 2008 - around the southeast of Alcaucin

The walk was led by Terry & Jane Frost. Again the weather was very warm as 24 of us (and Max) met up by the radio masts high on the ridge to the southeast of Alcaucin. The walk started off heading south before turning left into one of the many small valleys in the area.
	Of course, the only problem with going down into the valleys is that you end up having to climb back out of them!


The track then descended towards a finca before again climbing to a point alongside of the natural park.

	We skirted the fence line next to the park before descending back to the starting point. The walk took a total of about 1 hour 30 minutes and was followed by a meal (very well attended) at the Rancho Grande at Alcaucin. Our thanks to Jane & Terry.
