“We started the November walk from the Camping Bar car park and crossed the main road heading up towards Los Romanes. Shortly afterwards we came across a very pretty small hamlet with about ten houses and a Yoga centre. On up the road and around the back of Los Romanes made everyone of the twenty walkers puff but no one complained. From here we headed westwards along a track to a small village overlooking Benamargosa and Comares. The weather was beautiful and the views spectacular. Here we turned right to the bottom of the valley passing through another hamlet of homes to a road heading back towards Los Romanes and the Camping Bar. We again crossed the main road and down to the lake side picking up the path back to the car park. I think everyone enjoyed it and fifteen of us went to the Pantano restaurant for a Menu del Dia. The next walk is on the 13th December starting from the Periana road about half a kilometre outside Puente by the zigzag bridge, just before Estación. If anyone is interested again we will go somewhere for Menu del Dia. "
