Trip to Almuñécar - 28/09/2007:

The 28th September found us boarding the coach for the trip to Almuñécar and a barbeque and Flamenco evening.

The convivial atmosphere created by the members was enhanced further on arrival, by the on-tap barrels of wine at everyones disposal to accompany the ample amount of food available - ‘sausage on a stick’ will never seem the same!

After a relaxed, unhurried dinner, comfortably fed and watered, everyone found a seat for the Flamenco.

Whilst some aspects of Flamenco may not be appreciated or understood by most of us, the graceful and energetic emotions and rhythms expressed by the dancers, together with superb guitar playing made it a great evenings entertainment and brought another enjoyable outing to a close.
